Top white-labeled mobile app
1. MobiLoud

At MobiLoud, we’ve created white-label apps for all sorts of brands and businesses. None of them required our customers to write a single line of code, either.
Unlike the other DIY app builders on this list, MobiLoud lets you turn your existing website into an app. As a result, it is guaranteed to be a white-label solution. Your existing branding, colors, and website functionality will all still work on mobile.
After all, you have already created the online brand you want with your website. Why bother duplicating the effort just to get an app built?
We will even upload your app to the iOS and Android app stores so it shows up as if you made it. All your customers see is your app icon, and they download it as if it were any other kind of app.
For example, VERO MODA, a fashion brand with 3000 stores in 32 countries, previously had a custom-built native app but found that it was expensive and labor-intensive to maintain. They turned to MobiLoud for a cheaper, easier white-label solution.
And they noticed something else beyond the cost and labor savings. According to VERO MODA’s Product Owner Svend Hansen,
"Something we've noticed is that users who use the app are better customers, either they spend more, they spend more often, they come back and we've higher retention."
Building your white-label app with MobiLoud gives you all the benefits of having an app, including better loyalty, higher-value purchases, and push notifications. And no matter which pricing tier you choose, you receive full app white-labeling.
If you have already gone through the hard work of building a website and want to add an app to your online presence, MobiLoud is the ideal solution for getting a white-label app built.
Pros
- No coding is needed from you
- Results in a white-label app uploaded to the iOS and Android app stores
- Reuses your existing website, workflows, backends, and branding
- Much more customizable than DIY app builders
- All pricing tiers include full white-label support
Cons
- May not be able to access all mobile device hardware features (e.g. accelerometer or GPS)
- Requires you to already have a website set up
2. Appy Pie

Appy Pie is a DIY app builder that is known for providing templates and predefined workflows. If you want a white-label app built quickly, it is worth considering. There are presets available for many types of apps, too, so it’s not limited to one kind of business.
While it is template-based, as mentioned, it can be tailored to different kinds of businesses. Some of these include eCommerce apps, healthcare apps, wedding apps, photo-sharing apps, and more. That way, no matter the type of business you run, you can get an app built.
Like many DIY app builders on this list, it works via drag-and-drop. When you first open Appy Pie, you can start with either a totally empty canvas or a template. Then, you can drag and drop the features and items you want into the canvas or template to define how your app will look and operate.
Once you have finished building your app, you can publish it. However, this does not mean it will become available in the iOS or Android app stores. To do that, you have to follow an additional guide that Appy Pie sends you to get your app approved in those stores.
Much like other DIY app builders as well, you have to pay an ongoing subscription to allow customers to actually use your app. If you don’t, it will be locked away and unavailable.
There is another major stumbling block, too. To get a white-label app, you have to pay for an add-on package. That unusually costs twice the initial subscription, so keep that in mind.
AppyPie is good for beginners if you don’t quite know what form and functions you want in your white-label app and need to get it built quickly. But if you already have defined your online presence with a website, you will find Appy Pie limiting, and it won’t reuse any of your existing code. Plus, the ongoing subscription and extra white-labeling costs can add up fast.
Pros
- Quick and easy to use; gets an app built fast
- Lots of templates available for all sorts of businesses
- No coding required
Cons
- Not very customizable
- Does not reuse your existing website or code
- Subscription costs can app up fast, and white-labeling costs extra
3. Appian

Appian’s mobile app builder also uses a drag-and-drop interface. Appian is mostly for in-house apps, not customer-facing apps. So, if you are a medium- or large-sized business and need an app to get all your employees on the same page, Appian could work for you.
It could also work for some B2B use cases, but another option on this list would probably best serve B2C use cases.
Appian comes with a few different use cases already mapped out, which is handy. These include supply chain management, product management, operations enhancements, and others.
The white-label app you build lets you include your company’s branding, colors, and other touches so it will look and feel like a custom solution. Plus, Appian-built apps can work offline, which is great if you have lots of field agents, for example, who may not have service in remote areas.
As mentioned, Appian really is not for B2C use cases. If you want to serve customers, it really does not have much for you. However, B2B users and in-house apps for businesses will find many of its features quite handy.
Pros
- Heavily tailored for in-house apps
- White-label support out of the box
- Comes with many use cases already mapped out
Cons
- Not really useful for B2C use cases
- Won’t reuse your existing website and code

4. Movement

Movement offers a white-label app builder with a drag-and-drop interface. Like many DIY app builders, it comes with templates to get you started quickly.
Moreover, Movement offers many features that would be helpful for startups and new businesses. These include built-in support for stock photos out of the box. That is handy if you don’t have imagery or photos but need to get your app built anyway.
On the white-label side, you can set up a custom web domain so that your brand carries through all aspects of your app. You can set up a custom app icon, too, so that it integrates with your brand as well.
Helpfully, there is also support for custom colors throughout the app-building process. That way, the app you build will look more unique, even if you started with a template.
You can even create multiple apps under one account name, so it's possible to serve multiple users or create custom functionality across different apps.
However, true white-label functionality does not arrive until you opt for the Pro tier and above. That is when you get access to the option to remove all of Movement’s own branding from your app. That’s a bummer considering the amount of customization you get otherwise in the lower tiers.
Movement would likely be best for a business that has an idea of the kind of white-label app it wants but isn’t quite sure of the specifics. Just remember you have to pay for the Pro plan or above to get true white-label functionality all the way through.
Pros
- Comes with lots of templates
- No coding required
- Lets you choose a custom domain name
Cons
- True white-label app building is only in the Pro plan or above
- Won’t reuse your existing website and code
5. Plobal Apps

Plobal Apps is a DIY app builder that lets you build ecommerce apps for Shopify. If you already have Shopify store created, it might be worth a look.
Like many of the other options on this list, it uses a drag-and-drop interface. You can add all the features you would expect from an ecommerce app, including a checkout, product search, and push notifications.
Plobal Apps is useful primarily for businesses that already rely on Shopify. You can use the same backend and catalog and get an app that syncs with them, too.
But if you use another ecommerce backend, like BigCommerce, Wix, or WooCommerence, you are out of luck. There is no support included for them.
Furthermore, you have to pay for a higher-priced tier if you want custom branding and theming. So, it’s not really white-label at the intro price.
There is another pricing hiccup, too. If you opt for the most expensive Enterprise plan, at $1,199 per month, you also have to pay 1% on in-app sales. So you have a base cost plus a percentage of every sale, and that can add up quite quickly. Lower-priced tiers don’t take a cut of your sales, but they also offer far fewer features.
Plobal Apps is probably best for ecommerce businesses that already rely heavily on Shopify and want to get an app built quickly. Just keep in mind it will be expensive to get it to be truly white-label. If you don’t use Shopify, Plobal Apps isn’t for you.
Pros
- Tight Shopify integration
- Can get an app built quickly
- No coding required
Cons
- Gets expensive fast
- Shopify only
- Lower-priced tiers are quite limited and not truly white-label

The best white-label app builders: Final thoughts
Creating a white-label app is a great way to get an app built without going through the big, expensive hassle of coding it yourself. You get a fully functional app that looks and feels like it came from you with much less work.
However, there are a lot of downsides to opting for DIY, drag-and-drop solutions. They may appear to be cheap and easy, but you will quickly find their functionality lacking and lots of hidden fees lurking around. That is especially true if you want a full white-label app with none of the branding of the DIY app builder lingering around.
Plus, if you opt for a DIY solution, you cannot reuse your existing website, code, and workflows already in place. You will have to duplicate your efforts, which wastes even more time and money.
Rather than fiddling around with frustrating DIY app builders, you can have MobiLoud build you a white-label app with no coding required from you. We simply take your existing website and turn it into an app.
All of our pricing tiers include full white-labeling, too.
That means your existing branding, custom code, functionality, and backends will also be in your app. We will even publish the app for you to the iOS and Android app stores.
